Digital Yacht Week
Brand Identity & Creative Direction | 2026
Digital Yacht Week is the first global digital student competition focused on future boating concepts. Students exhibit projects built entirely in 3D, and the identity translates the codes of the nautical world into a contemporary design system that treats the screen as an instrument rather than a stage.
The goal
Position the exhibition within the institutional codes of yachting, building a language precise enough to be recognized at a glance and dense enough to reward a closer read.
The system
The palette is lifted directly from naval displays, working as a functional set rather than a decorative one. ChartBlue sets the deep field, GridGrey carries the structure, Offwhite Nautical defines the operating surface, and Signal is reserved for active states. The grid quotes the quadrant logic of nautical charts and carries every layout. Image treatment is hyperrealistic by design, calibrated to place the viewer onboard rather than at a distance.
Photographic aprroach
The photographic narrative is anchored to three moments of the day, sunrise, midday, and sunset, the hours when a yacht is best lived and best seen, and the same hours that govern both the render schedule and the publishing rhythm.
